We are a national holding company is seeking for qualified HR professional for our Growing Garment manufacturing business line to be positioned as :

Based in Semarang.

 

PURPOSE OF JOB

Reporting to Human Capital Director, the candidate will be expected to assume a leadership role within the business and the human resources/ general administration function supporting the factory production. The person must have practical experience in implementing successful and results driven human resources and general administration strategies, policies and processes. The additional ability to handle, review, lead and motivate the team as a whole is critical to the success of this position.

 

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES

Human Resources:

    *
      Ensure the right people for the positions are recruited
    *
      Ensure the effectiveness of the personnel administration process
    *
      Ensure industrial and employee relation are managed well
    *
      Ensure that employees communications are in-place
    *
      Ensure training plan is established and develop employee to achieve target.

 

General Affairs:

    *
      Manage factory maintenance and assets (incl. factory canteen, factory facilities, office assets administration)
    *
      Ensure efficient running building maintenance services (incl. office facilities, security, mechanic and cleaning service provider)

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ ACTIVITIES

Recruitment and Selection

    *
      Coordinate with local labor sourcing (LPK) to get competent workers
    *
      Maintain and develop relationship with other factories
    *
      Manage sourcing process – coordinate with local community to introduce the company and work with local school to provide on the job training opportunity
    *
      Conduct selection process – conduct initial screening, interviewing, personality test and technical test
    *
      Conduct programs New Employee Orientation
    *
      Ensure detail and comprehensive probation and contract renewal evaluation

 

Personnel Administration

    *
      Administer personnel, compensation & benefit administration to ensure smooth administration and deliver good service to the management and employee
    *
      Ensure payroll process are done accurately and in time
    *
      Ensure all claim process are well serve and pay in time
    *
      Set up annual performance management process
    *
      Ensure execution of annual performance management process steps across various divisions as per schedule

 

Industrial & Employee Relations

    *
      Manage communication (of position, policy, outlook, etc.) between management and employees
    *
      Develop and maintain good relation with the local community & local government
    *
      Manage employee performance, give counseling and solve employee related problems

 

General Affairs

    *
      Ensure office general administration are run smoothly (incl. office/ transportation leasing documentation, asset records)
    *
      Manage and maintain office facilities; incl. repair and maintenance activities and security

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION

    *
      Bachelor degree in Law, Psychology, Business Administration, or Human Resources Management from reputable university
    *
      5-7 years HR in the business experience, which ideally from garment industry
    *
      HR Generalist experience working within garment factory
    *
      Strong people and communications skills; possess the ability to report and communicate at all levels within the organization
    *
      Essential would be a background in recruitment and compensation, with a proven track record in managing recruitment and reward; including socializing changes in company and reward policies to be accepted by the whole organization
    *
      Possess a working understanding of general administration concepts
    *
      A high level of initiative is essential, along with the ability to manage a team of managers and coordinate internally during an HR development/ implementation initiative
    *
      Strong attention to detail
